MASON IS THREE!

I can’t believe I have a three year old. It’s crazy to me that my sweet boy, who came to us as such a tiny little babe, is now this amazing three year old. We had the best time celebrating him this past weekend with his Mickey and The Roadster Racers birthday party. He was so excited to see all the Mickey stuff around and wore his Mickey ears all weekend long.

For me, birthdays have always been special. Life is short and anytime we get to celebrate another year with the ones we love I think we should. I think this is true for everybody, but walking through foster care and adoption, I especially don’t take for granted another year with our sweet Mason.  He is growing into such a special person that has the biggest heart. He is so passionate (this can be good and bad ha!), and has the most tender spirit. He is curious about EVERYTHING, and loves to go bug hunting with Zach. He is my little adrenaline junkie. He’s come such a long way, and while he has some obstacles to tackle, we are so proud of him and know God is going to use him in such a special way.

If you don’t know already, I love planning parties. It’s so fun for me and I find so much joy in celebrating the people I love. When Mason’s face lit up seeing all his decorations and party details, it made my mama heart so happy.  We had a balloon arch with the show’s colors and we had lots of racing details throughout. I think Mason’s cake was my favorite! It came from a local bakery and they did such a good job!! He squealed with delight when he saw it. Below are some pictures from our day!
